Intensive In-Community
Intensive In-Community service is a home and/or community-based intervention provided by a licensed clinician, specialized in servicing children, adolescents, and young adults. This service is offered to assist at-risk youth ages 5-21 and their families in overcoming and successfully managing the obstacles of a range of emotional, social, and/or behavioral concerns. Our professional and experienced clinicians are held to the highest standard and offer individualized treatment plans tailored to the youth and family. These services are geared to offer stability and support in order to prevent potential need for higher level of services.
Mentor Services:
Mentor services are provided to collaborate with youth and their families with the goal of providing support as a positive role model to at-risk youth ages 4-21 years old. Mentors provide a positive outlet for children, adolescents, and young adults offering inspiration, guidance, and encouragement with the goal of leading youth to their fullest potential.
Tutoring Services:
Tutors are responsible for helping students to understand different subjects. They assess, assist and encourage the students in the learning processes. These professionals also review materials used in classes, explain various topics, and answers all the doubts and questions of the student regarding to that topic.
Behavioral Assistant (BA)
Behavioral Assistant (BA) service is a home and/or community-based intervention provided by a certified professional, specialized in servicing at-risk children, adolescents, and young adults aged 5-21 and their families. BA’s work in conjunction with a licensed clinician providing coinciding IIC or IIH services. BA’s assist in executing treatment goals established by the licensed clinician and family to address and assist the family in the management of a range of behavioral, social, or emotional needs. The BA role is flexible to meet the diverse needs of the youth and family.
Parent Coaching Services:
Parent coaching is a process that can help you navigate through your parenting challenges. Using a strengths-based approach, the coach strives to uncover the positive and the possible within the family. The task is to help the parent find what is working in their current situation and then build upon those strengths. The coach provides focus and structure to the change process, allowing you to get in touch with your core values and inner-wisdom so that you can identify your deepest desires for your family. Together we create a plan forward to manifest your dream.
Life Coaching:
A life coach is a type of wellness professional who helps people make progress in their lives in order to attain greater fulfillment. Life coaches aid their clients in improving their relationships, careers, and day-to-day lives. ... In creating these strategies, life coaches target your unique skills and gifts

At Growing Towards the Sun Therapy we offer a myriad of treatment approaches. We offer services grounded in evidenced based practice to promote the highest potential for growth, change and hope to help all we serve. We believe the journey to wholeness starts with taking time for self-discovery. We enjoy empowering individuals to find and work through their barriers to success.Treatment plans are tailored to the individual. Some of the treatment approaches used are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Talk Therapy, Mindfulness and Play Therapy.

At Growing Towards the Sun Therapy we are able to help many people with different issues through our many treatment approaches. Every treatment plan is tailored to the individual to provide them with the best care possible for that person. We are able to incorporate many approaches to meet each individuals needs. We specialize in treating people with Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder, Attachment disorder, Adjustment Disorder, as well as Foster - Care Related Issues.

About Francesca Bautista
Francesca Bautista is a Licensed Social Worker who graduated from Rutgers University in 2014 with her Master's in Social Work. She has been a practicing social worker for 7 years. She has experience working in case management, foster care, foster parent training, school social work, sexual violence advocacy and knowledge of in-home therapy practice in New Jersey. Additionally, experience with individual, family and group therapy focused on at risk youth. Tutoring services can be provided in conjunction with therapy services on a needs basis.
